Upon your arrival in Leh, our team will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel for check-in. Acclimatization is essential at this altitude, and we recommend you rest for the day to help your body adjust. If you feel up to it, you may explore the local market in the evening. Before dinner, your tour manager will provide a comprehensive briefing on tour. You will also be allocated your bike and gear. Today, you will stay in Leh. After breakfast, you will drive fora scenic excursion through Sham Valley, where you will visit the Hall of Fame, Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and Sangam—the picturesque confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Before returning to the hotel, you can visit the Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of Leh. In the evening, enjoy some leisure time exploring the Leh market. Dinner will be served at the hotel, and you'll have the evening to relax in preparation for the journey ahead.
After breakfast, head towards the iconic Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 18,380 ft. Located 40 km from Leh, it will take around 2-3 hours to reach the pass. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Karakoram and Ladakh mountain ranges. After a brief stop at Khardong La, continue your journey towards Nubra Valley. On arrival, you can indulge in a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Optional activities like ATV rides, ziplining, and go-karting are available. Later, visit the 14th-century Diskit Monastery before returning to your camp for a peaceful evening with a warm cup of tea.
Today’s journey is all about a scenic ride to Pangong Lake via the Shayok Valley, an alternate route connecting the eastern and western borders of India. The route offers stunning views nestled between the Karakoram and Ladakh mountain ranges. Upon arrival at Pangong Lake, admire its stunning blue hues—over 70% of the lake lies in Chinese territory. Visit the famous Bollywood movie "3 Idiots" shooting point and enjoy an overnight stay at a lakeside camp.
After breakfast your driver will takes you across the eastern plateau of Ladakh at an altitude of 14,000 feet, heading towards Hanle via Tsaga La Pass (15,400 ft). En route, make a stop at the Army War Memorial in Chushul village. Hanle is known for its migratory bird sanctuary, particularly the rare Black Necked Crane, as well as the Indian Astronomical Observatory. Enjoy a restful night in Hanle and prepare for the next day.
On the final full day of your tour, you will ride back to Leh. The route takes you through picturesque landscapes and a stop at the famous hot springs at Chumathang, where you can relax and enjoy lunch. Continue the drive for another 130 km, with a brief visit to the stunning Thiksey Monastery along the way. Arrive in Leh in the evening, and take one last opportunity to explore the local market before leave.
